3. Stay True To Size

New tyres should match the size of your original tyres. You can find the size on the sidewall of your tyres. There are 3 measurements to look out for:

Tire Width / Height Ratio, Rim Diameter (e.g. 215/55 R 17)

If you are interested to Upsize or Downsize your wheels, let our staffs know, and we will recommend the best fit for your car.

1. Tyres Are Not Food!

There is no reduction in performance between tyres recently made and tyres made 5 years ago as long as tyres are kept in proper storage conditions. The most important date is NOT the tyres fabrication date (DOT) but the date of installation on a vehicle.

Pressure Testing

4. Measure Tyre Pressure

Check your tyre pressure at least once a month to make sure they are properly inflated. For cars with Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), do remember to reset it once you have re-inflated your tyres.

If your car does not come with Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), let us know as we offer TPMS installation service for your wheels.

2. The $1 Test

Take a $1 Coin! Place the top or bottom of the coin in the groove of the tyre with side that has the the word SINGAPORE touching the tyre. If you can see the word SINGAPORE, the tires should be replaced as the tread has worn out and is reaching its safety line.

Care Tire

5. Tyre Rotation

For every 10,000 KM, remember to rotate your tyres. This refers to swapping your front and back tyres to help prevent uneven wear and prolong the lifespan of your tyres
